Senator Kenneth B. Keating of New York attended a dedication ceremony yesterday of a grove named in his honor in the projected American Friendship Forest north of Jerusalem.
The grove was subscribed in Sen. Keating’s name by the Jewish community of Rochester, N. Y. The Senator was visibly moved as he described the event as a "great honor." He also announced plans for a project in the Judean hills to symbolize American-Jewish friendship. He said there would be 50 pillars, each bearing the name of an American state, erected on the highest hill in the area.
