Sen. Herbert H. Lehman said today on the floor of the Senate that “we have every reason to maintain our faith in the United Nations” in the Korean war crisis, pointing out that the U.N. succeeded in Palestine, Iran and Indonesia.
Sen. Lehman expressed a strong desire for the isolation and containment of the Korean war and the defeat of the Northern Korean Communist forces.
