Senator Walsh to Address Hias Meeting on March 17

Senator David I. Walsh of Massachusetts, champion of liberal immigration, will address the annual meeting of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of America at the Hotel Astor, New York, on March 17, Benjamin M. Day. Commissioner of Immigration at the Port of New York, will also be a speaker.

The report of Abraham Herman, the president of Hias, will deal with the progress and development of Jewish immigration in South America and other countries.

Rev. H. Masliansky, Jacob Massel. B. C. Vladeck. Harry Fischel, treasurer of Hias, and Albert Rosenblatt, vice-president and chairman of the membership committee, will present reports.
