The fifth annual national Senior Young Judea convention opened today at Camp Tel Yehudah, near here, to discuss various problems of Jewish life here and in Israel. More than 160 delegates from all parts of the country are attending the parley.
The convention will be addressed by Avraham Harman, director of the Israel Office of Information; Aubrey Williams, editor of “The Southern Farmer”; Rabbi Amram Prero, Executive Director of the American Zionist Youth Commission, and Norman Schanin, Executive Director of the Young Judea organization which has a membership of 14,000 young people up to the age of 18. Senior Young Judea is the teen-age division of the movement.
