A sentence of three months’ imprisonment was imposed today by the high court of Lithuania upon a number of police officials who were charged with torturing arrested persons.
The charge brought against them was that they used electrical devices and other instruments to torture the prisoners. Particularly drastic were the torture infflicted upon Jews.
