The Court of Appeals to-day confirmed the sentences of the three assailants who attacked the car of Bishop McInnes, killing the driver and injuring one of the women passengers. Two of the assailants were sentenced to death. The third received a sentence of fifteen years penal servitude.
The attack on the Bishop’s automobile was made on May 5, on the road nineteen miles from Jerusalem. All the valuables carried by the members of the party were taken.
