The central committee of the Sephardic Union today resolved to postpone the elections of the Asefat Hanivcharim, the Jewish elected assembly, that had been fixed for January 5. The Sephardic group claims that no vote is possible unless the regulations of the election are modified. They continue to disagree with the farmers over the question of separate ballots.
