An airplane rushed from here to Bay City, Mich., arrived too late with anti-gangrene serum to save the life of fifteen-year-old David Cohen, son of Harry Cohen, a Detroit Jewish leader.

The youth’s death has shocked the community. He was a graduate of the United Hebrew Schools, of which his father is vice-president and the chairman of the finance committee.

Funeral services were held yesterday.
