Funeral services were held here Sunday for Horace Gellert, a pioneer in the Jewish advertising field, who died at his home here Saturday.
Mr. Gellert, who was 67 years old, came to this country from Russia forty-five years ago. He was associated with a number of Jewish weeklies, and when the Tageblatt was founded, he was made advertising manager, a post which he held for twenty-five years.
