Seven were injured this afternoon, two seriously, in a fight between members of the newly organized Revisionst labor union and Histadruth workers at the Frumin Biscuit factory.
The fight developed when Histadruth workers protested against the Revisionists working in the factory where they had declared a strike.
Two policemen sustained slight injuries when they sought to halt the fight. Fifteen were arrested.
Both of those seriously injured are Zionist Revisionists and were taken to the Hadassah Hospital.
The clashes are the culmination of two weeks guerilla fighting between both groups and followed an agreement reached for a temporary suspension of hostilities for the period of one month.
Both groups had signed the month’s armistice owing to government pressure and that of the Tel Aviv municipality.
The government posted an official warning in Haifa today that severer punishment would be meted out for disturbances of the public peace.
