The Jewish Agency here tonight tendered a reception to seven outstanding Jewish physicians from Palestine who are now in New York as delegates to the Fifth International Congress of Pediatrics.
Describing Palestine Jewry’s comprehensive medical program, the delegates pointment out that these activities are for the most part conducted by Hadassah, Kupat Cholim, medical institution of Histadrut; Women’s International Zionist Organization; and the municipality of Tel Aviv. Among the guests at the reception, which was attended by many delegates to the medical congress, was Dr. Helen Kagan, head of the Department of Pediatrics of the Bikur Cholim Hospital in Jerusalem.
