Seven Nazi doctors and Gestapo officers were executed in the Landsberg Proson today for crimes against humanity. The doctors included Karl Brandt, Hitler’s personal physician.
All seven were convicted by an American military tribunal last August of having been responsible for or participated in the use of human beings as guinea pigs in medical and surgical experiments which killed and maimed hundreds and perhaps thousands. Many of the victims were Jews who died in high altitude, malaria, gas and sterilization tests.
