Seventeen persons-court officials, lawyers and Nepmen, among them six Jews, were sentenced to death for violating the new economic policy of the Soviet Government.
The sentences of twelve were later commuted by the Wzick, the General Executive Committee of the Soviet Government, to five years imprisonment. Among the commuted were the following Jews: Bonel, Borishansky, Goldin. Among the remainder, who were executed, were the following Jews Schlachter and Brodiansky.
