Several French political personalities attended ceremonies marking the 35th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. A march was organized in the center of Paris to the Memorial of the Unknown Jewish Martyr. The Mayor of Paris, farmer Premier Jacques Chirac, along with several members of the National Assembly, led the march.
