Several hundred intellectuals, headed by 19 Nobel Prize winners, published a letter in Le Monde Saturday stating they would refuse to collaborate with UNESCO following the agency’s adoption of anti-Israel resolutions. The signatories included Nobel Prize winners Kenneth Arrow, Owen Chamberlain and Paul Flory; film directors Francois Truffaut, Alain Resnais and Jacques Tati; authors Mary McCarthy, Saul Bellow, and Philip Roth; and actors Yves Montaud, Simone Signoret, Jeanne Moreau and Francoise Fabian.
