British foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin was ticketed today by several hundred persons affiliated with the Jewish People’s Freshman. Order and the American Jewish Labor Council upon his arrival here on the seen ?ary.
The demonstration against Bevin was organized by the Joint Committee on Camlet Anti-Semitism, defense agency of the Order and the Council. The picketing was organized, the Committee said, because of "Bevin’s slurs against Jewish citizens of New York City and "British encouragement of anti-Semitism in British-occupied Germany."
