Several Jewish organizations are planning a fast and vigil this week to focus attention on nuclear disarmament, poverty and the death penalty. Nearly 100 Jews from across the country are expected to attend the “Fast for Peace and Justice” on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday. Participants plan to lobby members of Congress later in the day about the three issues.
