Several Jews have top fund-raising roles in the Republican campaign to elect John McCain U.S. president. The Republican Jewish Coalition noted last week that its board members Lew Eisenberg and Wayne Berman are respectively the chairman and deputy chairman of the Republican National Committee’s “Victory” campaign aimed at helping the U.S. senator from Arizona win the election. Another RJC board member, Elliot Broidy, is already the RNC finance chairman, and RJC board member Ron Weiser is a McCain campaign national co-chairman. Additionally, RJC board members Fred Zeidman and George Klein are leading McCain’s Jewish outreach, joined by U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), the deputy minority whip and the only Jewish Republican in the U.S. House of Representatives.
