Several members of Columbia University’s faculty spoke out against Israeli policies and Zionism. The faculty members addressed several hundred students and other members of the university community at a campus event Monday billed as supporting academic freedom.
The terrorists who bombed two Sinai resorts frequented by Israelis did so after failing to infiltrate Israel itself, an Egyptian prosecutor’s report said. Two of the Egyptian plotters will face trial in Egypt for their alleged roles in the Oct. 7, 2004, attack, which killed 32 people, including 12 Israelis.
