Several U.S. Jewish groups boycotted a meeting between Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Jewish leaders. Representatives from B’nai B’rith International, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations chose not to attend Tuesday’s meeting. They were protesting a decision by the Egyptian Embassy not to invite officials from the Anti-Defamation League, which has blasted the Egyptian press for being overtly anti-Semitic.
