Seymour J. Rubin, a member of the delegation of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, has been called in to help formulate the United States case in a dispute with France which is currently being heard by the World Court here, it was announced today.
Mr. Rubin, a Washington attorney, was a member of President Truman’s staff at the Potsdam conference with Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Premier Joseph Stalin. He was also an assistant legal advisor on foreign affairs to the State Department and has represented the United States in Europe on several occasions. At such times he carried the diplomatic rank of Minister. Mr. Rubin remains a member of the Conference team.
