Mo she Sharett, chairman of the Jewish Agency executive, was given a warm public farewell here this weekend, when he left for Rio de Janeiro, being lauded for his contributions to the United Israel Campaign in this country.
During his visit, he addressed a large number of Jewish, Zionist and general meetings and similar events in this city, Rosario, Cordoba and Mendoza. Participating in the farewell ceremonies were Gen. Josef Avidar, Israel’s Ambassador to Argentina, leaders of the campaign, heads of central Jewish institutions and local representatives of the Jewish Agency.
