Premier Moshe Sharett received UN truce chief Maj. Gen. E.L.M. Burns today and discussed with him the recent incidents along the Jordan and Lebanese frontiers. Mr. Sharett stressed the seriousness of the latest outbreaks and emphasized that the Arab states were duty bound to halt infiltration and marauding of their nationals in Israel.
Meanwhile, two homes and a barn were wrecked by landmines planted by infiltrees in the Alma settlement in Upper Galilee today. The infiltrators planted the mines on window sills where they were seen by inhabitants of the settlement this morning. The police were called, but four of five bombs exploded before the police arrived.
