Israel Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett, who is on a Latin American goodwill visit, and Uruguayan Foreign Minister Fractuoso Pittaluga, concluded a cultural treaty here, following a joint visit to President Andres Martinez Trueba.
Mr. Sharett presented the President with a silver cup made in Israel especially for him. Interviewed on the radio, the Israel Foreign Minister assured his listeners that the Israel Government will protect the Holy Places in Jerusalem.
