Prof. I. Leo Sharfman, head of the economic department of the University of Michigan, has been called to Washington in connection with the present economic readjustment.

On Feb. 24, Professor Sharfman and four other members of the University of Michigan faculty submitted a memorandum to the Senate Finance Committee predicting the closing of banks all over the country, and they urged Congress to act in guaranteeing all deposits 100 per cent.
