Shaul Ben Haim, the Israel Consul General in Toronto, died at a hospital here Saturday after a long illness at the age of 54. He had held his present post for seven months. Memorial services were held here and in Toronto today. The body is being flown back to Israel for burial. Born. Aug. 5, 1923 in Berlin, he came to Israel at the age of 10. He had been with the Foreign Ministry since 1950. Among the posts in which he served were London, Australia, Chicago, Malawi and Lesotho.
