More than 1,000 individual polling places will be established throughout the United States for the elections to the next. Zionist Congress, it was announced yesterday by Leo Wolfson, chairman of the Central Election Board.
The elections will be held nationally on Sunday, June 23.
It is estimated that there will be about 150,000 eligible voters, and that at least 80,000 of them will actually east ballots for their preferred lists of delegates.
Two years ago the total number of ballots cast was only 21,000.
Thus far only two nomination lists have been received. They are the combined list of the Hadassah and the Zionist Organization of America, and the list of the Poale Zion-Zeire Zion.
The last day for submission of nomination lists is May 25. Nomination lists must be accompanied by 100 signatures of Shekel payers.
