Some people might be content at having reached the remarkable age of 100, but not Sarah Levin, who is now now 110 and hopes to live to 111 as her mother did. Purim was a big night for Sarah Levin, as seventy of her descendants gathered at the Home of the Daughters of Israel for the Aged and cheered her as she danced the kazatzka and chewed at bits of her birthday cake that held 100 candles.

In addition to Mrs. Levin, three other centenarians marked their natal day on Purim, but they were comparative youngsters. Mrs. Sarah Himmelstein was 103, Mrs. Sonia Margolis, 101, and Charles Shupack, a fledgling of 101. To show that the weight of her 110 years meant nothing to her, Mrs. Levin threaded a needle and easily lifted a chair with one hand.
