The Delphic Studios at 9 East 57th Street are housing the first New York exhibition of Sheva Ausubel, painter and tapestryweaver. Twenty oils are in this show, which closes Saturday. Most of the canvasses are of Gloucester, although a few reflect the years of study Miss Ausubel spent in Paris.
Miss Ausubel studied at the National Academy of Design here and continued her studies with the notable French master, Andre L’Hote. She has spent a considerable period in Europe and during the summer of 1932 painted in Palestine.
