Before Dr. Drummond Shiels, under-secretary for the colonies, proceeds to Palestine for a visit in September, he will accompany the British delegation to the meeting of the League of Nations, the Edinburgh “Scotsman” reports. At this meeting the report of the Mandates Commission on the Palestine disturbances will be taken up by the Council of the League of Nations. Dr. Shiels will probably be accompanied by Sir John Chancellor, High Commissioner of Palestine.
