Shimon Peres said he fears Israeli extremists could try to kill Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. “I feel deep trepidation at the incitement, at the harsh things that are being said,” Peres told Ma’ariv on Tuesday, referring to right-wing outcry at Sharon’s plan to withdraw from the Gaza Strip and parts of the West Bank next year.
