Shlomo Argov, who served in Jerusalem as director of the United States division of the Israel Foreign Ministry, has arrived to assume the post of Minister of the Israeli Embassy here. He will replace Ephraim Evron, whose tour of service here has been completed. President Johnson met for about 20 minutes today with Mr. Evron to bid him farewell. Mr. Evron figured in the dramatic meetings of Israeli officials with the President during the tense days before the Six-Day War.
