Sholom Asch, noted Jewish novelist, left here today on his way to the United States. While in America, Mr. Asch will participate in the workers’ campaign for Palestine.
Irving Ingersoll Bloomingdale, one of the owners of the Bloomingdale department store, New York, died in London from injuries received in an automobile accident, in which Mrs. Bloomingdale was also injured.
Mr. Bloomingdale was a vice-president of Bloomingdale Brothers.
