Declaring that the circumstances in the excavation of David’s City justified the conclusion that the wall which had been discovered dates back to an early Jebusite period, Profess or McAllister, in charge of the Palestine Exploration Funds work in Jerusalem in an article in the Daily Telegraph today says all pottery experts who have examined the objects that had been unearthened agree in assigning
the date to not later than two thousand years before Christ. Accompanying Professor McAllister’s article are two photographs of excavations showing a mass of stone identified with the breach in the wall made by David.
