Max Shulman, president of the Midwest Zionist region, was elected president of the Chicago Zionist Organization at its annual meeting which was held Sunday. Mr. Shulman was president of the Chicago organization for many years but gave up the post two years ago.
William M. Katz and A. Z. Halperin are the new vice-presidents. Joel Davidson Wolfsohn was reelected secretary and John Rissman re-elected treasurer.
The meeting adopted resolutions condemning the treatment of the German Jews, and urging the strengthening of work for Zionism all over the world for the upbuilding of Palestine as a haven for Jews.
