Siegfried Ullmann, internationally known industrialist and philanthropist, died this weekend at New England Baptist Hospital, here. He was born in Germany in 1894 and came to the United States in 1923.
Mr. Ullmann was interested in many charitable activities and devoted much of his time in recent years to philanthropic affairs, especially in the field of medical and scientific research. He was the founder of the Ullmann Research Center for Health Sciences in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He also founded the Ullmann Institute of Life Sciences at the Weizmann Institute in Israel. He was a member of the board of governors of the Weizmann Institute and a member of the board of the American Technion Society.
