Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, president of the Zionist Organization of America and chairman of the Executive of the American Zionist Emergency Council, conferred for three quarters of an hour this morning with Lord Inverchapel, British Ambassador to the United States, on the Palestine situation.
Dr. Silver made a special appeal for the release of members of the Executive of the Jewish Agency and other Palestinian Jews imprisoned in the Latrun and other camps in Palestine.
