Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, Zionist leader and co-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, has been appointed Dudleian lecturer at Harvard University for the current academic year, it was announced here today. Rabbi Silver will lecture on the subject of natural or revealed religion, as specified in the will of Paul Dudley, attorney and jurist, who died in 1751 and left funds for an anniversary sermon or lecture at Harvard. The lecture is the oldest given at the university.
