Simcha Pratt, Israel’s Consul-General in New York, today was named director of the Foreign Ministry’s Division for International Institutions. Prior to his current assignment to New York, Mr. Pratt served as Israeli Consul in Chicago.
Born in Russia, and a law graduate of the University of London, Mr. Pratt was an officer at the general headquarters of the Israel Defense Forces during the War of Liberation in 1948.
