Simone Veil, the president of the European Parliament, will be among the hundreds of survivors of Auschwitz and other Nazi death camps who will be here for a world conference commemorating the 35th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz Jan. 30 to Feb. 3. The conference will discuss the meaning of the Holocaust on Jews today and will also aim to counter neo-Nazi propaganda that the Holocaust never occurred, said Stefan Grayek, president of the World Federation of Jewish Fighters, Partisans and Death Camp Inmates.
