Sir Alfred D’Costa, a member of the Jamaica Privy Council for more than 20 years, died here at the age of 95. Born and educated on this former British-owned island, he served as solicitor-general registrar of the Jamaica Supreme Court from 1907 to 1909 and as a Privy Council member from 1934 to 1959. Burial today was in the Jewish Cemetery, Kingston.
