Sir John Chancellor, Palestine High Commissioner, received a delegation of the Mizrachi, Orthodox Zionist Organization, in an audience yesterday which lasted for more than an hour. The members of the delegation, which included Rabbi Fishman, Chief Rabbi Ben Zion Uziel of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Ostrowsky, Rabbi Berman, Rabbi Levy and David Sirkis, described the educational activities of the Mizrachi and stressed the organization’s support of the Kenesseth Israel.
The High Commissioner agreed, it is stated, that the separatist policy of those who oppose the Kenesseth Israel is ruinous. Neither he nor the government are supporting the separatists, the reference being to the ultra-Orthodox Agudath Israel.
