Sir John Monash to Represent Australia at Delhi Fete

Sir John Monash, commander of the Australian army corps in France during the World War, is expected to be selected as Australia’s representative at the ceremonies incidental to the dedication of Delhi as the new capital of India. Sir John is now chairman of the state electricity commission, vice-chancellor of Melbourne University and president of the Australasian Association for the Advancement of Science.
