Sir Robert Waloy Cohen, prominent British Jewish leader, announced today he is sailing Jan. 20 on the Aquitania for a week’s stay in the United States.
The purpose of the visit was explained as “to renew acquaintance with American friends and discuss certain Jewish problems of mutual interest.”
During his stay, Sir Robert is scheduled to address the fourth annual assembly of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds in Philadelphia.
Sir Robert is chairman of the Economic Board for Palestine and the Palestine Corporation. He is managing director of the Shell Transport and Trading Co.
