David Tarshis is dead. A few months ago he attained the age of 100. On that occasion he was surrounded by thirteen grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
Born in Russia, Mr. Tarshis came to the United States at 65. After fifteen years in various cities of up-State New York, he came to this city, where he was in business with his son, the late L. S. Tarshis, who died four years ago.
