Congressman Sirovich, New York, was applauded in the House today when he termed Adolf Hitler “a fanatical paranoiac” and said the world was going to become either “a Hitler or a Roosevelt world.”
Declaring that German culture had collapsed under Hitler’s regime, Mr. Sirovich said: “I am convinced that a great prophet like Franklin Roosevelt who believes in justice and humanity will change the world, which is either going to be a Hitler or a Roosevelt world.”
