Hannah Stern, 25, sister of the late Abraham Stern, founder of the dissident Stern Group, was one of the two alleged women terrorists arrested during the week-end in a cafe by Criminal Investigation Division officials, it was reliably learned here today.
Described by the police as “top-grade terrorists,” the two women were seized in a routine check in a Jewish sector of Jerusalem. They were reported to have attempted to flee, but were apprehended at the entrance to the cafe. Hannah Stern has been on the wanted list of the Palestine police for the last five years. The other woman seized with her was not identified.
