Representatives of Yugoslav Jewish settlers in Palestine met here today with Yugoslav Minister of the Interior Vladeta Millechevitch, who is visiting Palestine in the company of King Peter. Millechevitch told the Jewish representatives that the King was acquainted with the problems of the Jews in occupied Yugoslavia and was anxious to take all possible steps to aid them. He expressed the opinion that a liberated Yugoslavia will be interested in developing its agriculture along the lines of the Jewish settlements in Palestine.
Earlier, the King together with the Interior Minister, visited the colony of Shaar Haamakim, located in the Valley of Zebulun, where he inspected a nearby grove of trees planted in honor of his late father King Alexander. King Peter lunched at the colony and was officially greeted by representatives of the Jewish Agency.
