Six Jewish members of the House of Delegates, Maryland’s lower legislative chamber, walked out of the House last week when Lord Inverchapel, British Ambassador to the U.S., entered the legislature on a visit. The delegates later said they had boycotted the visit as a protest against the “British policy toward Palestine and their breach of faith with the Jewish people.”
