Six Phoenician glass objects from the personal collection of Israel’s Defense Minister, Moshe Dayan, attracted most attention at the sixth international antiquities exhibition which opened in Florence, it was reported here. Viewers said Israel was well represented, mainly by Phoenician and Greek statuettes. The Phoenician glass was used for cosmetic purposes. Gen. Dayan is an ardent amateur archaeologist and collector of antiques.
